Today I got to interview a dope NYC artist. @HotelGuapo is a painter and I made his date night piece into a t-shirt that is now available online.

Where are you from? 

I’m from Newburgh NY a few miles up the Hudson  A grimy place no doubt but I made it out.

Where you at now and what's it like now?  

...rn I’m uptown in the dyckman Inwood area. I love this hood..there’s so much hidden energy up here so much talent and to me it’s the last frontier for pure New York fr fr 🤷🏾‍♂️

What does the  hood mean to you and why?

the hood means a lot to me I’ve lived in a lot of them in my life, they might have alil danger or a sorta gangster vibe but under all that it’s like magic how u see ppl still living in a place where a lot ppl wouldn’t be caught dead..got mad love for the hood.

Who or what inspire You?  

just about anything and everything inspires me no funny shit I get inspired from the ground sometimes then in the next minute inspired by the sky then a car etc..I try  to be inspired by anything, so many things to be inspired by daily.

C-lo or slap boxing?  

idk if I can break it down so simple both slap boxing n C lo start fights lmao but I think at least in C lo a nigga can make some bread in the process 😂
